- Code of Conduct
At the Institute we have a laid down Code of Conduct which we expect every student to follow and abide by in letter and spirit. All students who are keen to take admission in this Institute are advised to read the Code of Conduct carefully as non- adherence to the same shall not be accepted and appropriately dealt with. Decision of the Management will be final and binding on all the students. The Code of Conduct mentioned below is meant to regulate discipline in our campus as well as get students geared up to meet the expectations of the Corporate world. The Administrative Officers as well as the Academic Faculties have been empowered to take suitable action / levy fines against students not adhering to the Code of Conduct of the Institute. The fines thus collected will go to the Students Welfare Fund.
ON CAMPUS
- Students must report to the Institute 15 minute prior to the scheduled time at the gate in the morning.
- Students should wear dress as per the laid down Dress Code of the Institute. Wearing slippers is not permitted in the Academic Block. Students not adhering to the Dress Code shall not be permitted to attend lectures and shall be marked absent for that day.
- Students should wear I-Card issued by the Institute round the neck at all times during their presence in the Institute / while away on all official work and visiting other organizations.
- Male students are required to shave daily and have regular haircuts. Long and trendy hairstyles, sideburns, gelling & streaking of hair etc. is not permitted.
- Lady students are required to either tie their hair with a clip or plate them. No flicks are allowed to be maintained.
- Smoking, chewing of pan masala, chewing-gum in campus and such indecent activities are strictly prohibited.
- Students should keep themselves abreast of day to day activities of the Institute and abide by all communications put up on the notice board / website.
- Disrespect or discourtesy to guests, faculty and office staff will be considered as an act of indiscipline.
- All students are required to have a white hanky, deodorant and dictionary at all times.
IN ACADEMIC BLOCK
- Students must be seated in the classrooms five minutes before the scheduled time.
- No student will be allowed to enter the class / knock the door or leave the class once the faculty is in the class room.
- No student will be seen loitering around when the scheduled class is on.
- All mobiles and communication devices, if any, will be switched off in the Academic Block. Students found using their mobiles / communication devices in the Academic Block shall be punishable with confiscation of mobile which shall be returned after the completion of the course (Refer to use of mobile phones in the important instructions section of the prospectus).
- Students are not permitted to use their Laptops and read news papers / magazines when the faculty is in the class / class is in progress, unless permission has been granted by faculty in charge.
- In the event of cancellation of any academic session, students are required to do self-study in Library / Computer Lab, unless such sessions are substituted by any other session / activity.
- Eating in the Academic Block and while lectures / seminars etc. are in progress is not permitted.
