• Code of Conduct

All the students are expected to be disciplined and well behaved. Students are advised to read the code of Conduct. Instructions will be strictly observed by all the students throughout the course. Ignorance of Rules will not be accepted as an excuse. Decision of the Management will be final and binding for all students. The rules mentioned below are meant to regulate discipline in our campus.

  • Students must be seated in the classrooms five minutes before the scheduled time.
  • No student will be allowed to enter the class/ knock at the door or leave the class once the faculty is in the class room.
  • No student will be seen loitering around when the scheduled class is on.
  • All mobiles and communication devices, if any will be switched off in the Academic Block. They can be used only in the canteen area.
  • Students will always carry previous day's newspaper and business magazine.
  • Smoking, chewing of pan masala in campus and such indecent activities are strictly prohibited.
  • Students should be dressed appropriately as per laid down norms. Slippers, jeans, t-shirts etc. are not allowed in the campus. Jeans & t-shirts will only be worn on stipulated days as decided by management.
  • Absence from tests/examinations/ tutorials and non submission of assignments in time will make student ineligible for internal assessment. No excuse will be entertained.
  • Students should keep themselves abreast of day to day activities of the Institute and abide by all communications put up on the notice board / website.
  • Writing graffiti on the walls of the campus, chairs and tables or any where is an act of indiscipline. Such acts will attract severe punishments / fine.
  • Disrespect or discourtesy to guests, faculty and office staff will be considered as an act of indiscipline.
  • Misbehavior, habitual late coming, disobedience, absenteeism, consumption of drugs, alcohol in the premises, malpractices, cheating in the exam, and other such acts unbecoming of a management student shall attract being placed on Director's RED LIST.
  • Minimum attendance of 85% is prime eligibility for appearing in the examinations and to avail the campus placement facility.
  • Tuition fee and other dues shall be paid by due date. Defaulters shall be governed by the Rules relating to fee payment schedule.
  • Any student who has been formally warned or suspended (twice) will not be eligible for the campus placements through the Institute. His/her name will not be included in Placement Brochure.
  • Co-curricular activities shall not be considered as an excuse for lack of attendance, unless otherwise permitted by the Management.
  • Tearing of pages from the Library books will be viewed seriously, the student returning the book shall be held responsible for making good the damages / replacement of book.
  • Rules of the Institute can and will be changed at appropriate times keeping in view the best interest of students and the institute.
  • Anti Ragging: Anyone found indulging in ragging in any form within or outside the campus, shall be instantly expelled from the Institute (Ref: The Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999).
  • Wearing of Crash Helmets: All the students who use 2 wheeler vehicles will be required to wear crash helmets. Defaulters will be fined Rs. 500/- per incident and those who default repeatedly will be RED LISTED.
  • Disputes if any shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Pune only*
  • The Director is empowered to impose fines for misconduct on the part of any student as and when warranted and justified. The fines so collected will be utilized for students welfare activities.

*Disputes

There may be occasions that due to misinterpretation of Rules or any other cause a dispute/ grievance may arise. Once a student is taken on the institutes rolls, he will be deemed to have given undertaking to follow the procedure appended below:

  • The nature of the dispute / grievance will be conveyed to the Director in writing on a given format who shall give his decision.
  • If the complainant is not satisfied, he/she may submit the matter before the President, who shall adjudicate on the issue.
  • If it still remains unresolved, the complaint along with Director /Presidents decision and their comments will be put up to Advisory Council whose decision will be final and binding.
  • Thereafter, the student/ parents, if still dissatisfied may submit the matter for arbitration for which both the parties shall nominate a common arbitrator at the time of admission.
  • Notwithstanding the above, the student and parent agree to, that the dispute if any shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Pune only.
