Attendance Guidelines for the Students of Batch 2009-2011

With a view to ensure strict discipline among the students, the Institute has framed following Attendance Guidelines for compliance by the students –

  • A minimum of 85% attendance per semester is compulsory. Students meeting inter-alia the requirement of compulsory attendance will only be granted the term.
  • Students may avail leave upto maximum of 15% per semester to meet the exigencies beyond their control, by submitting Application in the prescribed form to Mr. Manas Singh / Mr. Lalasaheb Patil in Academics Department. Prior sanction of Deputy Director and in his absence of the Director is required only in respect of leave, which involves ‘going outstation’. In respect of leave for other reasons, prior sanction is not required.
  • Students coming late, not attending any of the scheduled lectures or going early will be marked absent for the whole day and the same will be treated as leave forming part of 15% permissible leave.
  • Attendance of students will be taken during the lectures and leave record of students will be maintained by Academics Department.
  • Mr. Manas Singh / Mr. Lalasaheb Patil from Academics Department will arrange to display the details of monthly Attendance of the Students by 5th of the next month. Any student not in agreement with the attendance record may approach Mr. Manas Singh / Mr. Lalasaheb Patil from Academics Department with a written request within 3 days from display of Notice on all working days between 4 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. and any objection made thereafter will not be entertained.
Message to all the students of PGDBM Batch 2009-11

All the students of PGDBM 2009-11 batch are advised to note that as already communicated the academic sessions for the year 2010-11 shall commence on Monday, 9th August, 2010.
Accordingly, please report at 9.00 a.m. on 9th August, 2010 at the institute.
Prof. Ravindra V. Paranjape, Deputy Director, shall address the students at 9.30 a.m. on variousmatters relating to the academic year 2010-11. Lectures will commence immediately after the address is over.
Attendance on the first day and for all the days thereafter is mandatory.
